絵手紙。伝えたい一言に絵画を添えた、誰にでもできる芸術表現です。伝統的な顔彩、筆、墨を使い、和紙のはがきの染み具合で様々な色彩を表現していきます。旬の果物、季節の草花など、身近な素材を自分風に表現して、その時の気持ちを伝えてください。
this site has been developed as a collaboration with Minako Ogasawara, an etegami teacher from Hokkaido Japan, in the hope of spreading the joy of viewing, understanding and ultimately creating etegami.
as a form of artistic expression originating from Japan, etegami comprises a watercolor painting on a hagaki postcard, accompanied by a select few words to convey a particular message. these works of art often depict objects of everyday life or celebrate the changing seasons.
コロナでサークルはお休み。絵手紙を描きたい！仲間に合いたい！そこで絵手紙リレーを考えました。巣ごもり中の自宅で７ｍにも及ぶ長い巻紙に仲間宛に絵手紙を描き、順に郵便で次の人に作品を送りました。仲間の友情がいっせいに花開いた作品です。
Our etegami circle in Ebetsu City, Hokkaido was closed due to COVID shutdowns. In wanting to continue to create etegami and reconnect with our friendship circle, the “Etegami Relay” was born! While at home, I created etegami addressed to my friends, on rolls of paper as long as 7.0 meters, and sent by mail to the next person in an established order. It was an art project in which friendships blossomed.
