仕上げることは、贈ること

落款印は必須ではありません。大切なのは相手を思い、不完全でも心からのメッセージを記した絵手紙を贈ることです。

Completion is an act of giving

A seal can add balance and identity, but it is optional. The essential final step is choosing the recipient and allowing the imperfect card to be seen.

仕上げの五つの手順

濡れた部分を乾かす。名前を書き落款印があればそれを添える。宛名を読みやすく書く。郵送するか手渡す。

Five finishing steps

Let wet areas dry. Add your name or mark. Use a seal if it is yours. Address the card clearly. Post it or give it.

原画を送る

手元に残したければ写真を撮るかコピーをとり、その後で原画を送ります。送ることも絵手紙のステップの一部です。

Let the original leave your desk

If you want a record, photograph the card and then send the original. Sending is part of the practice.

Keep the marks that happened

ゆがんだ線、思いがけないにじみ、余白も一枚の一部です。直し続けるより、もう一度題材を見て次の一歩へ進みましょう。

Uneven lines, unexpected bleeds and open paper all belong to the card. Instead of correcting endlessly, look again and take the next step.
