まず花の全体を眺めてから、小さな形にも目を向けてみてください。最初に心に留まったのは、どの部分でしょうか。絵、手書きの言葉、何も描かれていない紙の関係にも注目してみましょう。
Take a closer look
Begin with the flower as a whole, then let your eye move towards its smaller shapes. Which part do you notice first? Look at the relationship between the picture, the handwritten words and the unpainted paper.
身近な花を見つめる
近くにある花を一つ選び、描く前に、全体の輪郭と小さな部分をそれぞれ眺めてみます。どこから描き始めたいか、考えてみてください。
Try noticing
Choose a flower nearby. Before drawing, spend a moment looking at the outline of the whole flower and then one small detail. Decide where you would like to begin.
